OUR FOUNDER. OUR WHY.
THE MISSION BEGAN WITH ONE MAN'S REFUSAL TO ACCEPT "NO MORE CAN BE DONE."
Ross Mason was a marathon runner, triathlete, and successful venture capitalist when a 2007 bicycle accident resulted in a C-6 spinal cord injury. Told he would likely never breathe on his own, much less stand again, Ross refused to accept his diagnosis as a final conclusion.

Today, as the founder of HINRI, Ross leverages his background in healthcare venture capital and his personal journey as a patient to identify and fund the most promising neurorecovery breakthroughs in the world. His mission is simple: to ensure that the recovery he achieved is not an anomaly, but a standard of care for all.
A REFUSAL TO ACCEPT THE DIAGNOSIS.
