This case report by Ignacio Montoya, executive director of HINRI Labs, was first published in 2020 on the Hocoma Knowledge Platform. The report on the effects of robot-assisted locomotor training was based on Ignacio's personal experience while walking more than 655 miles bearing 100 percent of his weight in just 12 months on the Lokomat. This resulted in the transformation of his diagnosis from zero sensation or movement five years after his injury (T4/T5 chronic, complete) to being classified as an ASIA B after regaining sensation in the S5 sacral segment.
