The Warrior Alliance, Inc. (TWA) was co-founded in 2015 with the support of Ross Mason, the Founder of HINRI.  Kelly McCutchen, the Executive Director of HINRI, has also served on the TWA board since our inception, and chaired the board for three years. As one of HINRI’s primary philanthropic ventures, TWA was formed through their leadership team’s involvement in the critical milestones of organizational registration, administration and development.

The early stages of TWA’s business planning and sustainability was made possible through a series of events and introductions by HINRI that evolved into significant partnerships. These critical activities included:

  • Hosting of key fundraisers in year one that raised over $100,000 and a veteran transition symposium comprised of federal/state government officials, Atlanta business and philanthropic leaders, and strategic, financial, and nonprofit partners across the state.

  • Establishing the TWA organization 501(c)(3) filings, creation of company by-laws, and assisting with the assignment of our board members, advisors, and officers.

  • Strategic introductions through events with then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullin, and Jack Nicklaus in support of our veteran workforce development program, Operation Double Eagle. HINRI recently included TWA in their fundraising event in Palm Beach, FL to raise capital for Operation Double Eagle through a pro/am celebrity golf tournament.

  • Securing over $150,000 of operational funding to support our start-up compensation and business expenses.  HINRI continues to solicit funding for TWA through their strategic relationships in government, corporations, and philanthropy.

  • Arranged introduction meetings with the Marcus Foundation for initial seed funding that has evolved into a long-term partnership and $3.5 million of TWA grant awards.

TWA has grown to become of the premier veteran community integration programs in the nation.  We have served over 3,500 veterans and their families over the past three years, and have established partnerships with over 30 leading veteran service community partners. HINRI’s vision and continued support has been a major cornerstone of our success, and it is their investment of time, talent, and resources that has worked to help TWA improve the lives of thousands of veterans across the state.
